Mathijs Baaijens runs the innovation team at Edge Impulse (a Qualcomm company), the leading development platform for embedded machine learning. Previously, Mathijs led the cloud infrastructure team, architecting systems that host over 650,000 ML projects, ingest millions of data samples, and run thousands of jobs in parallel for large enterprises and individual developers. Before joining Edge Impulse, he led the IT team at a large European lottery, guiding its migration to the cloud. Mathijs studied compiler construction at Utrecht University and has over 15 years of software development experience.
