Daniel Situnayake has spent his career working at the intersection of computing and the physical world. As Director of Applied Research & Edge AI at Edge Impulse (a Qualcomm company), he leads R&D on building AI developer tooling for embedded systems. He co-authored the O'Reilly books "AI at the Edge" and "TinyML". Daniel previously worked on TensorFlow and the Google Assistant at Google, and co-founded Tiny Farms, an agricultural technology startup.
